Tease your bangs, grab some Tortex picks, and put the Marshall up to 11! Today is Get Out Your Guitar Day!
I got my first guitar around the age of thirteen. It was a classical hand-me-down with nylon strings. I soon got an electric, then eventually inherited a terrible acoustic from an ex. I played a little bit through high school, a little less in college, but never really enough to get all that good. I did marry a professional musician who plays a lot of guitar, so I guess he plays enough for the both of us. (These days, I do prefer playing my ukulele. Far easier for my little hands.)
This collection is geared toward not only to the practicing guitarists out there, but people like me: Never much of a player, but has always had a deep appreciation and love for the guitar. Rock on, dudes!

“Every Day is a Holiday” is my Etsy Treasury project for 2014. I’m hoping to find unique and beautiful items that exemplify the holiday of the day—the sillier and weirder, the better! What’s better than finding something worth celebrating each and every day?
