*tap-tap* Is this thing on?

I’m not even sure why I’m putting a blog on this site. I’ve rarely been the type of person who has a whole lot to say about any given subject. But there’s a first time for everything, and maybe it’s time I explore the idea of communicating openly on this big fat thing we call the Internet.

At this time, I’ve only just barely gotten the site structure up. I will eventually add all the images for the portfolio and hopefully iron out any little wrinkles that come down the pipe. I’m hoping that when it’s finished, it will be worth the effort and money to actually have my own url (*gasp!*) and eliminate the ads. Until that time comes, you’re just gonna have to deal with it. Hopefully WordPress won’t be trying to sell any male-enhancement drugs through my site. That would be lame.

Keep your eyes open for updates. Maybe I’ll blog about my progress on a crafty project, gripe about a client, vent about  my husband’s antics or complain (again) about assholes who talk during movies in the theater.

I wonder what’s next for me… Twitter? *shudder*

  1. Funny. It’s been 14 months since I started this blog with that introduction. I’m now up to 8 blog posts, one of which was even featured on WordPress’s Freshly Pressed. I guess I have a lot more to say than I thought, though I’m certainly far from prolific.

I’m always on the lookout for craft ideas that I can try for myself and blog about, and I’m now even a fairly avid user of Twitter, which I swore I had no use for and never thought I’d join. I also saw no point in Pinterest, but I’m really digging it these days.

    Amazing how things change. 🙂

But I STILL haven’t finished the portfolio. I guess things don’t change quickly.
